Aquar.io

Aquar.io is an ocean game developed by s3games that serves as a sequel to the popular Oceanar.io.

Gameplay

Players must collect the various amounts of food around the map, which can sometimes spawn fish. These fish cannot collect food themselves, but can convert lone fish and merge upon right click. The queen can eat the other fish to gain experience, which levels them up and unlocks better queen fish. Various types of fish can be collected, such as pufferfish and crabs.

  • Queen - 5 tiers
    • 1st Tier (Little Fish in a Big Ocean) A newly born Queen with an angler to control their swarms, produces "Guppies"
      • One Heart
    • 2nd Tier (Bigger and Bumpier) A Queen with some experience and a bit of growth
      • Requires 200 Score
      • Gives a Second Heart
    • 3rd Tier (Third Eye) This Queen has gleamed some knowledge of the seas and can turn it's third eye towards those dreaded Jellyfish
      • Requires 1000 Score
      • Gives a Third Heart
      • Queen can attack jellyfish, has a chance to Collect Jellyfish into Army
    • 4th Tier (Red Eyes) This Matriarch's unimpeded reign has turned it arrogant and haughty, leading to its eyes turning red as it trades it's knowledge for power. The same arrogance transfering to its children as well...
      • Requires 5000 Score
      • Gives a Fourth Heart
      • Still retains Jellyfish Recruitment ability
      • Eating food will now produce "Red Eye" Guppies
    • 5th Tier (Necro Queen) Even after death the Matriarch seeks control. Instead of flesh obeying its command, bones rise up to its call
      • Requires 20000 Score
      • Gives a 5th Heart
      • Eating food no longer produces guppies
      • Each kill turns into a "Skeletal Guppy"
      • The hardest to get to, as well as the hardest to play
  • Guppies (1 score)
    • Normal Guppy
      • Your regular foot soldier
      • Produced by Queens Tier 1-3
    • Red Eye Guppy
      • Your, little bit different, foot soldier
      • Produced by Queen Tier 4
    • Skeletal Guppy
      • Your, NOT so regular foot soldier
      • Formed from the corpses of other guppies with a Queen Tier 5
  • Pufferfish (5 Score)
    • Crowd Control/Pushers After they come into contact with enemies, they puff up, sending nearby fish outwards. Good for separating fish from the Queen
  • Hermit Crab (5 Score)
    • Defensive Units They wont move outwards with the army but will stay and surround the Queen
  • Crab (10 Score)
    • Fast units Good for chasing as well as collecting Mercenary Fish
  • Lionfish (20 Score)
    • Poison Specialist Enemies that come in contact with this fish will be afflicted with poison,
  • Jellyfish (30 Score)
    • Enemy Turned Friend Very frequent spawn rates. Can only be tamed by chomping on them with a Tier 3 Queen. Note, not all jellyfish will be recruited
