Mope.io is a popular evolution game created by Stan Tatarnykov and later sold to Addicting Games. It features a large map filled with biomes, resources, and other players. After the game was sold to Addicting Games, it made a notable drop in popularity as many of the newer features were viewed as joke features. However, with the addition of the Volcano biome in the center of the map, it has regained popularity.
Gameplay[]
Players spawn in as either a Mouse, a Shrimp, a Chipmunk, or a Desert Rat, depending on where they spawn. From there, they have to forage for food to gain experience and level up, as well as find water spots to stay alive. With each level up, there are a number of choices, with there usually being one choice for the water, forest, desert, and snow biomes. If a player grows enough, they can begin to unlock special abilities that let them attack for effectively, run from danger, or fly over obstacles. When a player gains 1 Million XP, they can become a Dragon or a Kraken, though usually Dragon is selected as it upgrades to Black Dragon at 10 Million XP. Black Dragons are immune to fire and thrive in the Volcano biome.
There is a plethora of food, which can be variously unlocked at different tiers. Some AI animals, such as Ducks, Bees, and Snails, are able to be eaten, though they have to bit a number of times.
Tail-biting can be used by lower-tier animals against higher-tier animals to gain XP and hurt them. These are used fairly often against the Dragon and other top-tier animals.
