Stabfish.io

Stabfish.io is a popular game that involves users, playing as various types of fish, poking each other with tusks that grow longer and more powerful as score is gained. The game has an extensive upgrade tree and encourages growth to unlock more and more powerful skins. It was released in March 2020 by "kadinfan1"^{[Chrome Web Store username]}.

Gameplay[]

Stabfish.io is played much like Pikes.io. One begins with a relatively short, weak tusk, but after a few kills, this tusk upgrades automatically. Over time, one can unlock all four sets of tusks. The last set is most powerful but takes much more score to upgrade. Similarly, skins may be unlocked as time goes on, according to cumulative score gained, kill streaks, and other statistics. When all three skins in a series have been unlocked, a master skin, which does not affect anything, can be unlocked, but is a significantly harder skin to unlock. The Kraken, the most powerful skin, is unlocked when a player has achieved a 20x kill streak using Octopus. The Kraken Run is where a player upgrades their skin every 8,500 points, but it requires that all other skins have been unlocked. Hats and masks may be unlocked by consuming bubbles with the corresponding image inside them, which occasionally drop from kills.
