Gameplay[]
Starblast.io is a top-down third-person shooter game that involves mining asteroids for experience and shooting at enemy players. Kills give significantly more experience than asteroids, especially if the player killed is a high level. Spaceships may upgrade into more powerful spaceships with heavier firepower. There are four gamemodes: Team Mode, Survival Mode, Invasion Mode, and Pro Deathmatch. There are also 11 community mods to play. Furthermore, you can create custom games and your own mods & spaceships if you have a elite commander pass.

Team Mode[]
Collect crystals to upgrade your ship and your team's space station. Protect your space station from enemy attacks. Destroy all enemy space stations to win the game. There is a total of 3 teams.
Survival Mode[]
Collect crystals and upgrade your spaceship before the survival period begins. Afterwards, you can't resapwn and the last player to survive wins the game.
Invasion Mode[]
There are few asteroids, and they yield few crystals. Defeat invading aliens to collect crystals. Kill the final boss on wave 10 to win the game.
Pro Deathmatch[]
Kill as many players as possible. Asteroids don't drop crystals, instead, players are given upgraded ships and crystals.

Starblast.io has been a popular game for many years. Its relatively complex graphics do not affect gameplay and, in fact, improve it. It has a balanced progression tree and the ability to purchase newer weapons instead of upgrading also benefit the game.
