Stomped.io is a 2D .io game where players attempt to climb the leaderboard by "stomping" each other via jumping on their heads. The game was released in the 22nd of December during 2017 and had its last update so far on December 13th, 2018. As of today the game is not playable anymore.
Gameplay[]
The main mechanic and point of the game is to stomp other players by jumping on them from above. Players can move using the arrow keys and can stomp using the space bar, however you can also play using the cursor. The game is very fast-paced, so good reaction times are needed to get the jump on your opponents. As you gain score, either through collecting stars distributed throughout the map or stomping other players, your stomper will gradually grow and rise onto the leaderboard with enough time.
There are many platforms scattered throughout the wide, long map that can be used to gain the high ground advantage over other players and stomp them along with an abundance of naturally generated stars that can be used to passively obtain score if no players are in an area. The map of Stomped.io is a very large horizontal rectangle, which means it can take a short bit to fully traverse through and encounter other players.
Skins[]
There are a variety of skins available for players to select, however only 7 of them are available by default: White, Blue, Orange, Pink, Teal, Brown and Red. The rest of the skins require you to share the game either through Facebook or Twitter to unlock, although this can be easily bypassed by clicking the links to either sites and pressing the back button, unlocking all previously locked characters.
Secret Skins[]
There are currently two skins that cannot be obtained via the skin menu and can be only used in-game by naming yourself a specific word.

- The Spacesuit Skins may be a reference to the popular game, Among Us.
- The Plumber-Skins are a reference to Mario, Luigi and Wario respectively.
- The Reddit and 4Chan Skins are both references to their websites of the same names.
- The Slenderman Skin is a reference to the Fictional Horror Character of the same name.
- The Fady Skin is a reference to the Youtuber Fady who once did videos on the game.
- There are currently only two secret skins within the game, Santa and Fady.
- The game had its last update on December 13th, 2018 and has never been updated since then.
